MICHAEL FABRICANT CHOSEN
At a Meeting of Executive Council of the reconstituted Lichfield
Conservative Association (to include Barton under Needwood which at the
next General Election will form a part of the Lichfield Parliamentary
Constituency), Michael was unanimously adopted as the prospective
Parliamentary Candidate for the next election. The Meeting was held on
the evening of Friday 24th November in Lichfield and the selection was
conducted with a secret ballot.
Michael says "I am proud to have been reselected by my Party and after
the next election I hope I will have the opportunity to continue to
serve the people of my slightly enlarged Lichfield Parliamentary
constituency which will include, for the first time, Barton under
Needwood."
The Parliamentary Boundary Commission has determined that as from the
next general election, Barton under Needwood should be added to the
existing Lichfield constituency. It is currently in the Burton
constituency.
[The present Parliamentary constituency of Lichfield incorporates the

Terrace, Chasetown, Colton, Fradley, Hammerwich, Handsacre, Kings
