RUBBER BAND LITTER
Following a complaint from a constituent, Michael Fabricant is taking up
a rubber band litter problem with the Royal Mail
"My constituent wrote to say that he has noticed a growing number of red
rubber bands scattered around Lichfield. These bands are very
noticeable." says Michael. "My constituent asks whether the bands could
be recycled or reused. Either way, they shouldn’t be left in the street
or in driveways. The constituent lives on Boley Park in Lichfield, but
has noticed rubber bands ‘stretching’ all the way into the centre of the
City.
"I will now take this up with the Royal Mail sorting office in
Lichfield. Lichfield has a deserved reputation for recycling" says
Michael. "The Royal Mail should do this too!"
