In questions to the Ministry for Education I mentioned that the Sunday Times claimed British universities are accepting overseas students with lower grades because they pay 3 times as much as UK students. But they are not. Overseas students enter university in their Foundation Year – not a degree- like studying for A levels.  And many do not get onto a degree course.
