Michael visits Citizens Advice in Lichfield
Michael Fabricant visited Citizens Advice (formerly known as the Citizens Advice Bureau) in Levetts’ Fields in Lichfield on Friday (13th September) to visit their newly refurbished offices in their 50th Anniversary year.
Michael says: “Citizens Advice provide help for thousands of local people each year. This includes on how to handle debt, how to claim benefits, and even how to sort out financial issues following divorce or separation. Their advice is free, impartial and confidential and provides an invaluable service to my constituents. The skill set of the advisors is enormous: getting your head round all the different government benefit schemes is no mean feat, so the advisors have my admiration.
“There is also an extraordinary good website run by Citizens Advice which is a good first port of call: https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/ It is well worth a look whether seeking advice or not. I was very grateful to the team who showed me around the centre in Lichfield and who explained their work to me.”
