Minister Praises Busy Bees
After Michael Fabricant raised the 40th Anniversary of Busy Bees originally founded in Lichfield during a debate in Parliament on early years education yesterday (17th April), Minister Claire Coutinho heaped praise on the business.
Michael Fabricant asked: “Would my Hon. Friend pay tribute to the work done by the private sector and in particular to Busy Bees, which was founded in Lichfield 40 years ago this year, and operates over 400 nurseries in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Europe and the United States – And wish them well for the next 40 years?
Minister for Children, Families and Wellbeing Claire Coutinho replied: “The Hon. Gentleman is testament to the fact that good things come out of Lichfield! I have met with Busy Bees a couple of times. I think there are some really impressive things they do, particularly around retention of staff and some of their training programmes, and I wish them well in the years to come.”
