“Trying to explain the complexity and nuances of the House of Commons is not easy” says Michael.  “For example in the Commons there are hundreds of Committees.  Some are All Party Groups – I am a member of several including one concerned with Ancient Woodlands which are being demolished by HS2, there are Public Bill Committees which scrutinise legislation line by line, and there are the Select Committees which overview the work of Government Departments.

“These videos are not meant to emulate the Open University!  Instead they are meant to be factual, but fun.”
