Michael Fabricant awarded long service awards today (24th March 2018) to members of the Lichfield Society of Artists which was founded in 1945.

Michael, who is Patron of the Society, presented certificates to Susan Price, Brian Ebrey (shown in photo) and John Wood.

Michael says “Once again, the Lichfield Society of Artists have demonstrated the huge talent that abounds in the Lichfield District.  The exhibition is not just painting, but pottery, digital graphics, costume design, collage, and other media – it encompasses ‘art’ in the broadest sense.

“This twice yearly exhibition was the last time it was held in the Friary.  It will eventually find a home in the new Lichfield Library in St Mary’s in the market square and I look forward to seeing the exhibition there in the future”.
