1206 VISIT DOWNING STREET AND PARLIAMENT
Cadets and their Commanding Officer, Flt Lt (VR) Chris Kelly, from the 1206 Mercian Air Training Corps Squadron visited No 10 Downing Street and Parliament with their Squadron President, Michael Fabricant, last week.
“This year is the 75th anniversary of the air cadets forming and to celebrate this, the Staffordshire Wing has created a relay torch that will tour each squadron in Staffordshire and it accompanied our visit” says Michael Fabricant.
“It is my honour and privilege to be Squadron President of the 1206 which is one of the most successful ATC squadrons in the midlands.”
Photographs show commanding officer Flight Lieutenant Chris Kelly standing to Michael’s right outside No 10 Downing Street with air cadets and the Deputy Commanding Officer and in New Palace Yard outside The Elizabeth Tower (‘Big Ben’) in Parliament.
