UNEMPLOYMENT FALLS AGAIN IN LICHFIELD CONSTITUENCY
The number of unemployed claimants in Lichfield constituency in March 2013 was 1,276. This represents a rate of 2.8% of the economically active population aged 16 to 64, the 521st highest of the 650 UK constituencies. (1st = highest rate of unemployment, 650th = lowest rate of unemployment.)
Michael Fabricant says: “The number of claimants is 193 lower than in March 2012 and 45 lower than in February 2013. This is such good news for the Lichfield constituency which includes Burntwood and surrounding villages. It’s a reflection of how hard working and skilled my constituents are.”
