BUSKING FOR CHARITY
Michael Fabricant says: "Following my ‘performances’ at the Election Hustings, I will be taking it all a step forwards by busking for Charity at around noon on Saturday 22nd May at Speaker’s Corner on the corner of Minster Pool and Dam Street in Lichfield.
"I am looking forward to singing a mystery number and hope that everyone will join in the chorus and not heckle.
"Despite the coalition Government with the Liberal-Democrats and strong rumours to the contrary, I can reveal that I will NOT be singing ‘Tie a Yellow Ribbon round the old Oak Tree’. However, I WILL be singing a song that goes back almost to my pirate radio days.
"I can confirm that any money thrown into my hat will not be used to supplement my expenses."
