GARDENING AT CHASE TERRACE PRIMARY SCHOOL
Michael Fabricant visited Chase Terrace Primary School on Friday (26th March) to meet the children and hand over gardening equipment supplied by Morrison’s supermarket as part of their ‘Let’s Grow’ campaign.
Michael says "The enthusiasm of the children was infectious and I very much enjoyed meeting the children, headteacher and some of the staff. The kids are really keen now to start digging. And in the meantime, I have invited the School to send some children down to Westminster to see what the House of Commons is all about."
Gordon McBurnie, the headteacher of the School, says "The children were very excited to have our local MP at the school. It is particularly exciting considering the elections next month. Michael talked to our 400 children about environmental issues and hoped that we make good use of the equipment that we received from the Morrison’s Let’s Grow campaign. We certainly will!"
