THREE BUCKETS OF CASH!
Michael Fabricant participated in the Golden Jubilee Bower in Lichfield yesterday (3rd June) by walking and running the full length of the parade and collecting cash from onlookers who had visited Lichfield to witness the Bower. But first, he attended the Ancient Court of Arraye in the Lichfield Guildhall where Dozeners report on the security of the various wards of the City. Before the ceremony began, he collected money from attendees at the Court. In all, he collected 3 full buckets of cash for the Mayor and Sheriff’s charities "and managed to stretch my right arm in the process. Do you have any idea how heavy a bucket full of coins is?" he asks. Though getting drenched by the near constant drizzle, Michael says: |
