WERE YOU BORN ON 6th FEBRUARY 1952?
Michael Fabricant says "People living in the Lichfield Parliamentary constituency who were born on 6th February 1952 should apply now to Mr James Hawley TD, JP, MA, the Lord Lieutenant of Staffordshire, at the County Buildings Martin Street, Stafford, ST16 2LH for invitations to attend the Golden Jubilee Garden Party on the 9th July next year. The Party will be held at Buckingham Palace in London and will be hosted by Her Majesty The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh. The 6th February 1952 was the date The
Queen ascended the Throne. I am keen that people from Lichfield, Burntwood, and villages in my constituency do not lose out in this celebration."
Applications for the Buckingham Palace Garden Party to be held on 9th July 2002 must be received by 31st January 2002. All applications must be accompanied by a copy of the individual’s birth certificate so that eligibility can be verified. Eligibility is limited to those who were born on 6th February 1952, who are of British nationality and are currently living in the United Kingdom.
In order to invite as many eligible applicants as possible to the Garden Parties each guest may bring one companion only. However, children under the age of 18 will not be allowed to accompany a guest. If you have attended a Garden Party before, this should not deter you from applying for an invitation to this Garden Party, provided you meet the criteria already defined
