MICHAEL’S TOP OF THE POPS AGAIN!
Figures just released by the House of Commons for the Parliamentary Session (year) which ended on the 30th November reveal that Michael Fabricant was once again the most active MP in the West Midlands during Parliamentary Question Time.
Either by catching the Speaker’s eye or by being listed on the Order Paper, he spoke 54 times on behalf of his constituents – more than any other West Midlands MP. In all, he came 5th out of the 659 MPs in Parliament.
Michael said "I am surprised at the result. For five weeks I was out of action in the Chamber while I was serving in a quasi judicial rĂ´le hearing evidence in a Committee Room missing all the fun downstairs!"
(Figures for MPs’ contributions in debates will be announced shortly by the House of Commons.)
