Following a suggestion from a Kings Bromley resident, Michael Fabricant is contacting Nick Brown of Central Trains to determine whether an occasional service can be run between Lichfield Trent Valley Station and Birmingham International. During recent road/rail engineering works, trains had to be diverted in that direction.

"This is an interesting suggestion from my constituent", says Michael Fabricant. "Birmingham International is not only a major rail station, it also provides a connection to Birmingham International Airport used by local
business men and holidaymakers. With petrol prices higher than ever, it makes sense to use public transport when a good service is available. I shall be interested in Central Train’s response".
